I actually liked The Day Of The Doctor.

Lemme explain. No, there is too much, lemme sum up.

Here is my explanation:

DO YOU SEE HOW AWESOME THAT IS?!

DOTD was pure fanservice. It was awful plot-wise, absolutely. Did Matt Tennant and David Smith bicker? Yes. Was William Hurt there to act as a foil to their manic natures without stealing the entire scene? Yes. Were the Time Lords there but their part didn't steal the entire show? Yes.

Here's the thing; I liked Day of the Doctor because it was entertaining.

It was awful, bad, yes, and it didn't resolve the red slug tentacle things, yes, but it was entertaining.

Which is more than I can say for season 7.

The ending sucked, though.
