I didn't fact check, but judging by the rumor mill it seems likely but apparently Will Smith was even going against his PR agents advice and flat out saying he hates Jared Leto. Apparently he wasn't even invited to the wrap party after shooting. Also saying he didn't think he was "in character" but that Jared Leto is just normally that kind of person.

Lets also not undermine the idea of method acting. That means you stay in character between takes, not that you act like a sociopathic dick while your cast-mates are having breakfast.
