We are heading towards an Idiocracy!

Serious thought, are these two candidates really that horrible? Yes, but thats not what I'm getting at. Are they especially horrible. Is it we happened to get two bad ones or are they all horrible and we as a society have reached a point we can see it now? Could also be, not that we are able to see it, but so hate driven we will dig for any scrap we can to justify it. I mean I'm sure if you cherry picked the last ten years of my phone calls, social media posts, texts, emails, ect I'd come off as a monster too. On this forum alone I'm sure there is enough content to make any group hate me.
