My knowledge is all very specifically Duck-Verse, so I'm glad to see so much detail.

Scrooge is the best character, Mac. Any of his early treasure hunting days comics really highlight his roots and cement the kind of hero he is. There's one from his early mining days where he gets tagged by a stake thief, and chained up on a boat. You hear letters from home, and a lot of Scrooge's character by the end (also some early in his life sightings of Goldie!) Imgur usually has them floating around if you give a quick "McDuck" search.
