Irony plays it's role
Life has been rehased
Rehersed, it crashed
A repeating dance
Of pain and humilty

I won't do it
I have done it
Then it falls through
Once again.

Lucky, come unscathed
Photograph of shame
Put in a box, shove away
Pretend that you didn't see
And focus on your own pain

Life now calls to me
Act again, go through the day
Keep this event from everyone
Who would tell you
"Who cares? It's not real."

So life tugs at two ends
What is or is not "real"
Heart, mind, body, soul
Two are in each world
Now all at risk of vanishing

Again (Irony dogs my footsteps)
Choose (Heart and soul, body and mind?)
Just (One is for me, one for others)
One (Practical and Emotional)
World (For both...is impossible...)
