I met a man out walking
on a road Once, far away
He wanted me to follow him
along his lonely way
We walked up many mountains
and along the silent seas
Until the day he stumbled and
fell down to his knees

He told me to go on alone
To leave him there behind
So I kept on walking
and now I'm lost for time

There was a girl I knew once
Best friends when we were kids
until the day she moved away
Never saw her again
See, a hole was left in my heart
and it filled with cynic thoughts
I kept my distance after that
Built a wall around my heart

No laughter really cured me
Nobody really cared
or knew It's hard to be a little kid
who's all alone and scared
These children walked a long time
they were far away from home
In endless fields of dandelions
and I walked all alone

You never know what you might find
if you walk head held high
I won't stop walking now
Until like my guide I die
