Everything I'm not

A man.
A lover.
A king.
A rook.
Three spaces forward.
Two steps back.
A son.
A brother.
A writer.
A poet.
Living.
Dying.
Laughing.
Crying.
All these things I am
and more.
Sadly,
There is one thing that I am not.

I'm not a ninja.

Author's note: Yeah. I know. I'm also not a girl. Or a transexual. Or a budding porn star. But none of those make for funny punch lines.

I might make a serious version of this one. I kinda like the serious angle it was taking.
