Help for hosting music!

Recently, I got this interest of trying to host music from my computer, using Winamp, and I directed to this page: http://www.shoutcast.com/, and after downloading the neccesary files, I installed and followed the instructions, but all for nothing. The Winamp started to act funny, and would close upon execution. I removed the plug-ins and Winamp, and reinstalled Winamp again, and it's all back to normal.

Now, my question is, how can I host my music over Winamp with this files?
