Being half Al-Bhed is the reason for the two different colored eyes (And maybe the creaters just thought it was cool or something, but story wise that is the reason). And Al-Bhed usually have the wierd pupil things, but Yuna only got the color, so they never assumed it was an Al-Bhed thing.
