Since the game is speculated to take place in the 40's (or at least some time significantly before the first two Metal Gears, let alone the Metal Gear Solids) it is very unlikely that its Solid Snake. Also, I think in the preview, is shows "Snake" as having missing an eye.

Big Boss was missing an eye too, as per Ocelot's comment to Solution Snake about looking just like Big Boss.

Since Snake was a clone of Big Boss, it'd certainly explain why he looked like a younger version of BB.

Personally, I expect a kick-ass storyline that will start to tie the threads of all the prior Metal Gear stories, and make sense of the jumbled mess that is Metal Gear.
