Among the stars so far away
The souls of many love to say
Somewhere out beyond the sun
He's hiding from the only one...
The one to love, the one to care,
The one to seek, The one who dares
To bring along the brightest star
Attract the awe from oh so far
And when the stars are brought to bear
Upon the earth to brightly share
The knowledge of the people's past
That used the stars to truly cast
The brightest light for years to come,
Brighter than the brightest sun,
And if the light should come again,
Then we will see the bravest men
Rise again from eras past
Protect us all 'til the last
And final victory is won
And no more will the stars all shun
For man has proved their greatest worth
These little apes from Planet Earth.
