Some say love
is a game to play
whenever you're bored
on a listless day.

Others say love
is a fleeting glance
into what your life is like
if you grab at chance.

Even more say love
is a scientific elation,
then compare it to their
wonderful formulas and equation.

Why is love
so hard to define?
It is a human emotion
yet there is no rhyme.

No pattern, no data,
no hard evidence to discover.
Why do we chose
who we chose as our lover?

For all those searching to find
what makes love true,
I'll tell you something;
it's my personal view.

Love is love.
