The boy left and she stared after him, that was a little odd, she thought. At that moment she heard a loud voice and the Dean started speaking. After describing the school and how awesome they were all going to be, she waited in line for the sign ups.

There were only four magic courses, so she was fine there and wouldn't miss any, but she had no idea what to take for weapons classes. She remembered Aylward had taken archery, so she would take that too. The bigger weapons were really not to her style though, so she also went with weapons with a little more finesse.

She also saw a list of jobs, under it one that required taking care of horses. She used to hold horses for travelers, so it wouln't be a bad idea to make some spare gold. She signed up for that as well.

Just then a tall boy with curly hair came over to the group huddled near her and asked for help reading the sign up. She called to him.

"Over here. I'll help you out, what are you interested in?"
