Ara ara!
|
I think certain people are missing the fact that its funnier this way.
Apologies for the delays - was suffering from a mite of writer's block. I'm wanting to get this battle wrapped up fairly quickly, so don't be afraid of taking some significant actions and writting a bit of back and forth in your posts. Anyway, I'll have to reprimand you Hawk - that head kill was too easily done. Insane enemies are quite tough after all. Also, given the size of the hydra, I doubt its physically possible to do that. Still, for ease of organisation, we'll go on with that outcome. This hydra has a few tricks the regular serpentine hydra didn't - although I haven't gone into the reasons why yet. Also, Flare, you seem to have forgotten about that train. I assumed you got to its other side at some point, but pay more attention to positioning in the future would you? And here, for your viewing pleasure, is the sphinx's profile. Does she actually have a name? Wooo, mysterious... Name: Sphinx, Former Gatekeeper Class: Beyond Insane Appearance: Being a sphinx, this elegant creature has the body of a lion, the wings of an eagle and the head of a beautiful woman. Her wings are a striking pattern of red, brown and white, complementating her tawny coat and russet hair. Her face has leonine features, including a mouth full of pearly white, extremely sharp, teeth. As Syttulg can attest, her claws are sharp also. While in their first meeting, she had all the laidback disinterest of a professional secretary combined with a housecat, she's quite focused now. Abilities/weapons: Riddling Dweomer: The sphinx can create a variety of magical effects of considerable potency. However, these have a flaw in them, some puzzle or riddle that allows them to be unravelled. A very simple example is mazing someone - they're taken out of the battle until they can find their way out of the maze. The teeth and the claws and the MAULING: The sphinx is also quite good at fighting up close.
