Toasty has left the building

"You're in the Manor...in the clinic. It looks like you went and got yourself possessed." Nathaniel said as he come in the room, having heard the blast on his way back from the garage. He looked around the room. "I'd say that Duncan would be mad at you for this if it weren't for the fact we're pulling out real soon.
Nat quickly gave Zack a rundown of the situation. "Given your condition...and given the fact that the Fallen already broke into your mind once, you may be better off sitting this one out. Of course, that's up to you." Nathaniel started to walk out of the room. "If you think you want to come, get down to the garage with whatever you need to survive and fight. We're not going to wait for you...if you can get your stuff and get down there by the time we leave, you're not going to be any good to us on the run." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ((OOC: Behold! I finally found a way to explain character drop outs! I figure I've given people enough time to post to say their in...but if you still want to play, just post yourself in...I'm going to kick anyone out because they couldn't get online over the weekend or whatever.)) Duncan watched impassively as a number of Protectors took his invitation to get out while they still could. Part of Duncan was furious with them for leaving the duty they volunteered for. Another part of him completely understood...nowhere in the job description was there anything about taking on a Fallen and the 'good guys'. As the last deserter left, Duncan looked over the room. "Okay...we're it then. Like I said, we need to get out...and we're doing that right now. The McCragges have a small house up in the mountains...about a seven hour drive from here. In the past it was used as a mountain resort, but I had it set up as a fall back point when I inherited it. No one has been up there for years, and no one knows exactly how to get there...except me, which is exactly what we need at the moment. I'll give you guys directions as we go...at least until we get out of town. No offense, but if any of us get grabbed...by either side...you can't disclose a location that you don't know about. If I get grabbed, you guys will have to think up a place on your own...the less people who know about it, the better." Nathaniel came in the room. "Everything is fueled up and ready to go." Duncan nodded. "Okay...let's go. If you don't have a ride, find someone to go with...I have room for one or two more in my car." "I can fit a few in mine," Martin said. "Not as fancy as some of the other cars in this place, but she hasn't let me down yet." Nathaniel had already turned, walking back the way he came...he was taking his bike, and nothing in Heaven or Hell would make him leave it. ((OOC: See discussion thread.))
