The issue with that is a mafiate would have to be retarted to choose one of their own in that situation. If they did, then if the S.K. kills them or the P.P finds out their real role, then they have effectively thrown their own under the bus. A mafiate can still win even if they die, and should I wake up tommorrow as scum, then I have effectively accomplished nothing, other than possibly given the town loads of information.
