Not to mention the money saved on keeping people alive in jail who are only in there for marijuana charges.
The pros outweigh the cons. Regulate it like alcohol. I for one don't mind big tobacco getting bigger if it means we have less government spending on hunting down people and a substance that's mostly harmless.
