Actually, the mask-related thing I am most interested in is; what happens if a Hollow removes their entire mask? Do they become Soul Reapers?
Heh. Wouldn't it be pretty interesting if that turns out to be how Soul Reapers first happened? I mean, look at how Ichigo developed his own powers. It may very well be a very accelerated version of how a person becomes a Soul Reaper in their first incarnation. Which as we all know is the way Ichigo does everything.
