Even if he is an enormous asshole(which I doubt, I mean this is some shit made up on the internet, some fansite probably has somebody pretending to be him and ran with the joke or something) he wouldn't lose his job unless his sales dropped off the planet. Plenty of authors are massive assholes and they still get published, cause people buy their shit. It's also been a week, manga people take a week off all the time.
He's probably reading Spanish to Japanese dictionaries for new hollow attacks or something.
