Hey, Truce mentioned slow actions and I have questions about them.

When a Slow action actually "fires," does that take up the character's Standard action for that round? Or does the firing just happen and they're free to take a Standard action, like whacking something with a stick or starting up another Slow action? Seems like it should be the second one, since the other way would make casting two spells take five turns, but then again having a spell go off and then making an attack doesn't seem right, either. Actually, never mind, page 117 says it's the second one. Woo for doing spell damage and attack damage on the same round. That should be fun for the healers.
