Or, more accurately, "Let's read about some guy who plays a game and laugh as he fails".

The first RPG game I ever played was Pokemon Blue. Nothing much else I need to say except that I liked it a lot when it came out. I don't want to bore you with too many details about my childhood.

I'll be playing Pokemon Blue for the original Gameboy. If you want to see a Let's Play of its updated rerelease, go look at Nikose's Let's Play or go he re.

Anyway, on with the show!

"<Oh wait Normal attacks go right through gho->" *SPLAT*

Ah, so you're the odd one out. Must suck to be stuck researching while the rest of your world is busy being awesome by owning dangerous beasts for pets and killing things with them.

Aaaaand now we gotta give ourselves a name. Then we have to name our rival, choose a starter Pokemon and then name that Pokemon.

P.S. that's your cue to give me suggestions!

I have to agree with the above suggestions. Especially the bit about Shephard.

You also gotta find a way to work a resonance cascade into it. Perhaps Zapdos.

I do believe that there have been other Half-Life-themed Let's Plays in games that are not Half-Life (like this one), but I can still go with those names if you really want.

Well Nikose just chose Charmander as his, so you should go with Squirtle.

Yeah, I'm tempted to still say charmander though, because Gen 1 Charmander was hard mode, while whatever stupid gen Nikose is playing completely ruins the point of picking Charmander.
