I fully expect that this great movie will meet the high bar of quality set by the Dragonball movie

It's being directed by the same guy who did the "Get Smart" movie and "Fifty First Dates". This is gonna be great.

Johnny Depp as Mayuri Kurotsuchi... calling it now.

I shudder to imagine how they are going to cast most of the females with E+ cups like Orihime or Matsumoto.

Or the children characters. It's kinda rare to see kid characters in shows with violence or fanservice in any live action show.

they have a live action version in japan, so, like most things they will use more averagely endowed women.

Betting this is pre-soul society stuff. Which might be to their advantage. Teenager in a modern city fighting monsters. Least they wont completely screw up the setting. Still shonen doesn't translate to live action very well. Ten bucks says Ichigo's sword isn't even half the size its supposed to be.

There is only 1 Anime turned Movie i would watch.



It would be like the Unholy creation of Silverster Stallone and the Guys who did The Matrix. If they captured the insanity of Hajime no Ippo's Boxing, it would make an AWESOME , albeit stupid, movie that i would 100% want to watch.

But Bleach...?

A 2 hour movie can't cover the Soul Society Arc, so i hardly see the point of trying if before you even start it's already stabilished that you will kill any chance of Keeping the story in there.

And they managed to screw up with Dragonball-Fighting. There is no WAY they could nail Bleach.
