Oh that's clever. I've only seen Duckula once. Maybe twice in my childhood.

You know what I loved the most, Mighty Ducks.

Don't know why fully but I loved the hell out of that show. Though not a much as I loved Swat Kats.

Default It's not offtopic. It was a spinoff. It had Launchpad! And Gizmoduck once!

Anyone caught the new Darkwing Duck comic? It's two episodes in and pretty fucking great. Far and away the superior comic sequel to one of my personal favorite cartoons (Sorry, Adam Beechen's Batman Beyond. You should have tried harder!).

Set several years after the show, "The Duck Knight Returns" finds Drake Mallard working as a cubicle drone for a massive corporation named Quackwerks, alongside former local law enforcement officers and St. Canard's apparently-reformed criminal element, including a number of his old nemeses that have been reintegrated into society, all of which having been put out of business by an army of crime-fighting robots developed by Quackwerks. Gosalyn attends a fancy private school with the money her father's earning, but with no crime left to fight Launchpad has moved back to Duckburg, and Drake himself is sinking into depression as he constantly reminisces about his former glory days.

However, Drake begins to uncover a number of suspicious activities being run by Quackwerks and dons the mantle of Darkwing Duck once more to investigate, while at the same time a group of his old enemies, led now by Quackerjack (who has an as-of-yet unexplained hate-on for Negaduck, who so far hasn't appeared), has taken up arms in a mad quest for revenge against the company responsible for putting their lives of crime to an end and forcing them to serve Quackwerks as faceless corporate deskjockies.

It's a pretty fun read, and stays true to the spirit of the old cartoon, but is definitely playing to the adults who watched it as kids more than trying to just aim at today's kids, which is an impressive move for Disney. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Daaaaaaaaaamn. Negaduck was a badass. I loved the whole 'Negaverse' arc. They had a lot of great super-hero homages in that show.

DUCKULA!! That was the shit. His castle is basically a TARDIS. AMAZING.

The other shows were great, too, of course, but yeah. Also, fuck you the song is in my head now and probably will be for a couple of days.

E: No, I'm serious. The internal replay in my head IS STILL GOING.

Based on the comics, he was honest and fair,n ever intentionally screwing anyone out of thier honest share. But he also ruthlessly exploited an unfair system to own fair more than he needs to. Could go either way.
Als was a rocking show.

I remember then they had nega-negaduck, when they split good and evil, then did it AGAIN. The resulting entity was then a living personification whose very existence corrupted all around him. *Disclaimer: memory might be imperfect. But it was awesome

When you remember that A: money is basically a shared suspension of disbelief B: he never actually spends any money for concrete goods if he can possibly avoid it, he actually consumes a relatively modest share of real resources, with the exception of the unusual quantity of airplane fuel he uses dragging his relatives around the world. He might have a detectable disinflationary effect in the larger economy, as money that goes into the Bin is effectively destroyed.

As far as I remember money in the bin is only the money that had sentimental value to him and his actual fortune is much larger and tied up in stocks and shares thus activelybeing used.
