WTF The Expendables 2 Has Chuck Norris, that is all.

DAT CAST - From Wikipedia

Quote:
Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross

Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Vilain[1][2]
Main villain,[3][4] leader of an opposing team of mercenaries.[5] Van Damme had previously been offered a role in The Expendables but failed to come to an agreement with Stallone and ultimately never took part.[6] Commenting on the role, Stallone said "We’ll have a big showdown between me and Van Damme, which has been anticipated for a long time, so it should be a good one."[2]

Jason Statham as Lee Christmas[7]

Dolph Lundgren as Gunnar Jensen[7]

Randy Couture as Toll Road

Scott Adkins as Hector

Jean Vilain's right hand man.[8] Adkins was confirmed on September 22, 2011.[9]

Terry Crews as Hale Caesar

Bruce Willis as Mr. Church
In late August 2011, Stallone stated his interest in having Willis return for a role in the sequel — expanding upon his brief cameo in the original — potentially as a "super villain".[10] Willis' was confirmed to be involved in a "substantial" role on September 6, 2011.[11][12] Commenting on the film, Willis said "Hopefully, they'll start shooting it while we're young enough to survive."[13]

Arnold Schwarzenegger as Trent Mauser
Stallone noted his intention to have Schwazenegger return for a sequel before the release of The Expendables, stating "If this works, I would love to get him in the next one".[14] Schwarzennegger's involvement was confirmed on September 6, 2011, his "substantial" role expanding on his cameo in the original film.[11] Schwarzenegger filmed his scenes in 4 days.[15]

Jet Li as Yin Yang

Liam Hemsworth
A sniper.[16] Hemsworth was confirmed for the role on September 19, 2011.[17]

Chuck Norris as Booker[18][1][19]

Yu Nan[20] as Maggie
So, Movie Bob from the Escapist is going to have a heart attack, and i'm going to watch the manliest man-bro movie of all time

I dunno, Expendables kind of failed to capture the 80s machismo that would have made it a really great movie. It was still pretty good, but eh, I dunno if I'm that excited to see another one coming.

Am I the only one exhausted with having thirty and early fourty-somethings using their new found influence over popular culture to constantly beat me over the head with "YOU KNOW WHAT WAS AWESOME? THE '80S. CAN YOU NAME A BETTER MOVIE THAT HAS EVER BEEN MADE THAN GHOSTBUSTERS? YOU CAN'T! UNLESS YOU SAID BAAACK TOOO THEEE FUUUUTUUUUREEEE!!!!"

And then all of the other thirty and early fourty-somethings go "aha I knew it!" and take that as their cue to jack off all over the media, and I, the twenty-something, just have to sit through it and listen to people acting like Weird Science wasn't balls.

But then, wasn't the 90s and early millenium a throwback to the 70s?

The Expendables was pretty neat, but I didn't feel it was over-the-top enough.

You like Heman and theMasters of the Universe right though? And Rocky 4?
Those other movies are terrible because they don't star Dolph Lundgren? That's your point right?

Expendables was somehow beyond atrocious, but Stallone can reload really fast which was cool.

On a bright note, this lowers my expectations for a sequel down near "The Pleasures of Licking Slime Molds," which means I might come out enjoying it if it is half-competent!

Masters of the Universe is objectively the best movie ever made.
