Anima; Beyond Fantasy: The Logs!

I had far too much fun writing this
Here we go, the game logs so far! For those just catching up:
Episode 1: Our heroes meet! A Necromancer is fought! Lightning strikes! A martial artist is alight with the flames of Inner Fire! And Outer Fire! Episode 2: Books! Ruins! Forces with which mankind should not lightly trifle! These are the ingredients of today's soufflé! What lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! And he drops good loot. Onwards, brave heroes! Episode 3: Instead of a soufflé, our heroes found their recipe was for disaster! Fireworks! Explosions! Undead! God-lookalikes! Can our mighty explorers stand against the tide of darkness they have unleashed, before it consumes the land and sets the forest ablaze? Episode 4: Our heroes contend with their greatest challenge yet: SUBTLETY! Can the escape the inquisition's dogs? Can they navigate without a map? Was coming to this forest really such a hot idea? Episode 5: The journey into darkness grows ever... Darker! As our heroes struggle with past revelations, they stumble upon a remnant of a world long gone by. A remnant that would like to kill them very much! Will it succeed? If it does not, will our heroes be responsible with what they have discovered? This week, in Episode 5: Teleports Are Over Powered!
Episode 6: Now the guardians of powers beyond their comprehension, our heroes strike east to evade their pursuers - And almost immediately run into a Hunter! Can they face this new challenge together or will it break them before they even leave the forest of darkness? Episode 7: It's time for some R&R! As our heroes journey on toward the mysterious eastern land of Shivat, they take time to stop by in the charming city of Terrasanta! In this modern day metropolis, they find friends they thought forgotten, and a chance to let their guard down at long last. But peace is never forever, and darkness stirs within the heart of their fellowship, in Episode 7: Masks Are Over Powered!
Episode 8: Wounds mended and arms re-attached, our heroes settle from their latest conflict, only to find themselves neck deep in another trouble. Awaking in the middle of the night to screams and sounds of doom, they find the charming city of Terrasanta overrun! Now death stalks the streets, and old allies are not to be trusted. Tragedy is unavoidable tonight - Will our heroes be able to stand against it, in Episode 8: Destruction Is Over Powered! Episode 9: The night of damnation continues! As our surviving heroes desperately try to stem the flow of death, they find themselves confronted with the heart of corruption itself! Once again friends become foes, other foes become annoyed friends, and Giant Monsters try to sample hero delicacy. Is anyone going to leave this city alive? Back on their journey once again, a quiet stop in a dockside city becomes a fight to the death, the prize? Free sailing! Episode 11: After the dramatic revelations of last episode, our heroes set sail for Shivat, land of eastern mystery. But on the way their ship is waylaid by a guardian dragon, who warns their arrival heralds disaster. But what's this? A messenger from the heavens with something to say?! Episode 12: Finally our heroes have found sanctuary, safe within the confines of Nanako's childhood home. But all is not well on the fabulous estate. Disguised as sublime tea, a deadly poison! Can our heroes survive the perils of a killer that lurks unseen? And if not, dare they ignore the warnings of a thousand ancestors and use magic to save themselves from certain doom? In the end, will any of it matter at all?! As the sky turns black, an ancient evil returns, and a warrior falls, never to rise again! Episode 14: A fork in the road, our heroes split up! With the armies of Yagarema massing for attack, they set out on a desperate search for aid! Will the Tengu be gracious? Will the Oni be accommodating? Working on the word of the Lone Asura Wanderer, they could be the land's only hope! But oh no! Disaster strikes, as some of our heroes find themselves locked in battle with a FOE they can't hope to defeat! Really! Tonight, a hero dies, in Episode 14: Turtles Are Over Powered!
Episode 14.5: Recovering from their losses, our heroes plan to revive their fallen companion. But do they have time?! The dark god's machinations strive ever closer to completion, and even a single delay could cost the world its light! With heavy hearts, our heroes resume their mission to save the Mystic Eastern lands from Evil's domination, and return to face the foe that bested them once before. Can they hope to stand again, so soon after crushing defeat? It's time to find out, in Episode 14.5: Turtles Are Really Really Really Over Powered!

Episode 15: Our heroes continue into the mountain, their hard won victory assuring their progress... But just what was the great guardian beast protecting?! What's this? A secret facility? Be careful guys, who knows what lurks in this abandoned lab's cold steel heart! Alastor, is the roof really the best place to give a bug a hug?! Nanako, lava isn't good for swimming! Takeda, stay calm, don't lose your head!!! Zel, are you sure you want to cast that spell?!? All these valuable lessons will be learned, in Episode 15: Bugs are Over Powered!
Episode 16: As Takeda adjusts to his new life in death, the team doesn't have long to track down yet another Rift Beast before it escapes to terrorise the land! But with the bridge out, just how are they going to give chase?! And once they find a way, just what manner of unholy abomination will they be facing? Surely they'll be in for the battle of their lives! Can our heroes sur- Wait, Kris, what are you doing?!? Don't you know that's a nuclear reactor?!? Join our heroes for their desperate escape in Episode 16: Elevators are Over Powered! Episode 17: With the Oni pacified and new allies gained, our heroes are now ready to restore Imara to life - But what's this? Don't tell me that was a load bearing boss!!! Run, guys, the roof is coming down on your heads! But look out, there's one last obstacle in your way, and boy is it a doozy! Fight on, heroes, don't let this mountain claim another life, half the party has already died here! It's time to escape for Lannet, and leave the land of Shivat behind, but first you have to face the leftover robot hoards of science! Look out Al, your shields might not be enough this time! And what was that, Kris? This tunnel's radioactive?!? Oh no! Tune in, viewers, for the epic finale of the Oni arc, in Episode 17: Mountains are Over Powered!!!

Episode 18: Our heroes are re-united! Sure, one's an undead corpse, but after the DEATH MOUNTAIN debacle, they should be happy to take whatever they get. But not all is joy and rainbows in the party, as Imara feels her death and resurrection speaks of inadequacy! But just how did that one wish lead down the path to a new disaster?! Find out now, in Episode 18: Old Blood Is Over Powered! Episode 19: A duel to the death between Zelenha and the face of a power older than time itself! As the rest of our heroes watch on for the sidelines, can they really restrain themselves as they watch their friend fight a foe she cannot hope to beat? And... Oh no, not now! Just as things are at their worst, an old enemy reappears to twist the knife even deeper! Is this the end? Find out now, in Episode 19: Imperium is Over Powered! Episode 20: The deeds of the last episode behind them, our heroes finally arrive at the first temple of the Magatama. But in their way stands the timeless foes of bureaucracy, religion, and an old drunk master. With a hasty and desperate plan, Alastor steps fourth to claim the orb of metal... Do our heroes have the strength of heart to charm the cold prince of elves? Do they have the strength of arms to impress the Celestial Dragon? Do they have the guile to trick a trickster?
