The Underworld's Ruler has recently died. Cause of death is unknown, but the Ruler no longer exist. Having no spawns or children, there are no heirs to the throne. Which means that 90% of the demons are now trying to become the next Underworld Ruler. To do so, the demon(s) have to get to the Underworld Capitol Castle, and hold there position in there until no one dares oppose them.

Demons can look like anything and can do anything (Not one demon, but overall). So as long as you aren't an angel or human (Or to overpowered), then any character you make should be fine. I'm most likely brining Dou back since I don't think that fantasy RP is going to start.

There can only be one Ruler (By law, but it’s a world of demons, laws aren’t really obeyed), but the amount of power that the Ruler gets leads to back stabbing between partners or groups trying to rule. It’s one Ruler, and followers (Ruler can almost always kill the followers, unless they are really honorable, or cursed, or just like following over ruling (The 10%)).

We will all be in one group that has past relations (Most likely), so after characters are made it will be put together how they all know each other.

Technology is modern with a fantasy twist. So there are guns, and there are giant metal robot suits. But, for whatever reason, guns don’t do much against demon skin (Or skin equivalent).

Adding this is for whatever reason. When a human dies, they become a demon (Keeping there human memories). Their demon form and powers is pretty random, but it’s easy to change your form (Not powers) with the right connections and money. When a demon dies, they become a human again, but lose all of their memories. This process repeats until they live a human life which is deemed worthy enough to go to Heaven.

Appearance: (One form unless you are a shape shifter, and no pure human looking demons. Other then that, you can be anything from a floating chair with evil eyes and spikey teeth to a giant, pure black spikey T-Rex/Lion creature with an evil dark aura aroud him)

Abilities/Powers: (This can be pretty much anything that isn’t to powerful, but no holy stuff. Healing can be done, but demonic healing)

The goal is to get enough power by any means (Get followers, find legendary items, ally yourself with some powerful demon and hope you can later trick him, etc, etc). But, since we are a group, there should be many points of backstabbing and tricks to get rid of possible problems to your eventual sole ruling of the Underworld. None of you are strong enough to do it alone, so you need a couple of the others alive.

Name: Carnaraska

Appearance: This demon looks like a giant, armored, bipedal wolf. He has two huge wolf-like legs with large claws. His upper torso is like that of a giant, muscular human with black fur. He has four arms. Two are human but have long claws and fur, with which he can carry weapons and such. The others are really large and muscular, ending in wicked, serrated pincers. He has a long, spiked, furry tail and a wolf head. His tongue, however, is that of a snake. He's 14 feet tall and weighs 963 pounds. This demon can also run on all fours, letting him run faster and attack with his teeth and pincer arms.
Weapons/Armor: This demon has a really large halberd which he carries with his human-like hands. His plate mail armor is spiked and black.
Abilities/Powers:
Jump: While he cannot fly, this demon can leap great distances, even while wearing armor. He uses this ability to leap onto a foe, stabbing or slashing them as he comes down.
Venom: This demon's teeth, pincers, and claws can inject a powerful poison into an opponent, causing them to be phisically weakened.
Whirl Sweep: Carnaraska can create a whirlwind attack with the axe head of his halberd, enabling him to strike multiple foes.
Background: This demon is barbaric and bloodthirsty. His name is a slang term for "carnage and death." Before becoming a demon, Carnaraska was a street brawler who always fought dirty. Now, he's a very strong melee opponent.

Appearance: An ancient tome of knowledge with wings arms and a mouth
Weapons/Armor: Leather-bound Hardcover(like full plate for a book), and a jeweled dagger
Abilities/Powers: 9th level spells, flight, and the ability to absorb a book to capture the knowledge contained inside
Background: He was once a human sorcerer who was adventuring to become powerful enough to planeswalk to ancient Netheril of a far away planet on a material plane similar to his, but far separated. When he finally learned to planeswalk, he started trying it, but was sucked into a planet of Ancient Gold Wyrms who quickly divined his purpose and had him killed by Zambufu. He has been slowly recuperating in the underworld from that ordeal and has a fear of other males.

Elminster, demons can't go to the human world. And when you are a book, you can't really attack the gonads of anything. Also, 'he' is a male, so wouldn't he always be attacking himself?
