I Miss Tech TV (Really long loading time)

G4TechTV got rid of my post there forum with my image archive. I miss what was Tech TV and because of that I'm going to repost the archive here. Hope people feel free to talk about what they miss and great moments from the past of Tech TV. I have more pictures than these but I didn't save the full finished original post and have a little reconstruction to do.

Allmost all of the images have been reduced in Rez and Size I do have the originals intact but no where near enough web space to host them myself.




In this Section I intend to post images, where I don't know in which series they belong, or that I do not have a headder for. I didn't manage to save them all, but I will post what I have. Anything is better than nothing.

Please do not take the images to use. This Gallery is for viewing not sharing. I don't have the right to give out that permition, consider that I am infringing on Copywrite by doing this in the first place, but private use (meaning offline and not for proffit) is not covered by the law.
At least not yet. . . . . .

I have allot of series images up here I wish I had banners to go with them but I didn't frequent the entire site. If I have any images with the wrong show please let me know.

































Got this one Up First Because the #1 Thing I see people Missing is Call For Help I hope that the low rez isn't too much of a problem but at full Rez some of these Images were over a Meg Alone.

I miss Leo, the Screensavers , and Tech live. But I also miss Xplay's old set (something you don't have, nothing big though).

That is a little harsh but hardly undiserved the only Tech TV shows that are still on the production schedule are Anime Unleashed (purchacing only), X-Play, and The ScreenSavers(98% of Tech TV staff fired) Everything else is being kept as in not sold off for other chanels to produce and that is rather cruel.

G4 does have a few shows that are TV worthy. Cinema Tech, Arena, Portal, and one other that I can't remember the name of now and with them and some of the great content from the old Tech TV they could have done something amazing but they didn't and now the world has lost a jewel.

I would still complain at the station if it wern't for them threatening me with taking legal action to stop me from doing so the last time I talked to them.

Actually they completely cancelled The Screen Savers. VG Cats linked to the new host site where he said G4 let everyone go again. So now its just repeats again and again. All of the G4 shows suck, except for Cinematech. Arena chops up actual gameplay so match that you can't really tell what's going on in any game, and the commentators suck.

Filter, a good concept a bad host and stupid forumers doing the voting. I mean really Shenmue the 2nd worst game ever, worst than SUPERMAN 64?! What were they smoking? Just because it actually requires you to do real detective work unlike other games, I admit it was boring but it in no way deserved to be labeled one of the worst games ever. Diane Mizota or whoever is annoying, she's more annoying then the new Screensaver's host were.

the new X-play set sucks. Before it was simple, black and red like the logo, a couch, and some tvs and monitors. the new one is bright colorful random and makes no sense at all? What's with the bright random blue and white? Random props for different situations.

Judgement Day, an X-play wannabe that sucks. Random crappy special effects, and blue screens? The two host suck, and have no appreciation of the craft. One of them is the steryotype hardcore if it isn't an FPS it sucks, and the other is a new age hippee who's only job is to disagree with everything the other says. I mean come on at least on X-play Adam voiced his hatred of RPGs without letting them poison his review. The Sessler was always "I hate RPGs, Final Fantasy is great if you like the genre 5 out of 5". These new guys have no appreciation for anything the developers try to do "Its a side-scrolling shooter didn't I play this on Nintendo? It sucks" I mean remakes are remakes, if its designed to play old skool style, don't complain when it is.

Every other show is basically the same thing. Interview the same developper about the same game for 3 months, with the same host. I swear Tommy Tali-whatever is on nearly every show.

All in all G4 sucks, G4 can blow me, give me back my TechTV and add Cinematech it is the only thing you got right G4, take the rest of the crap back.

What can I say I miss it all, give me back my TechTV.

I posted all the time on the Tech TV Message Boards I miss them.
They may have lived on but, G4, simply put everything onto their boards and the community from Tech TV, more or less died.





The Board Icons were allot of fun and ratings were right there with the thread headders.

I don't know if the board icon backgrounds will show on all browsers, but here are the ones I was able to salvage.

Edit: Valid points across the board with one exception. They recast TSS nearly completely now, only one TTV Writer, Sarah and K. Rose are all that are left from Tech TV. But the show is still in production.

Yeah I just reread Alex's website. I read it when he wrote TSS is Dead, and never checked in again. Anyway it's dead to me either way. Even though Kevin and Sarah were always my favorite people, I just can't stand to watch it again. On the positive their is this. I can only hope it comes true.

Edit: On closer inspection it is a Chiuaua with an erection. I wish I could explain why I did take a closer look, but right now I think I need a bath. Something about that image doesn't sit well with me.

Even if we get a new channel these people were the heart and soul of ZD and then Tech TV.

I don't think I have a prayer of getting even half of everyone but it is fun to make a start.

Another site not really to any person on the cast it is Tech TV On This Date, it shows Tech TV images that happened on this day in the past.
