Okay... it's a manga about football... and I don't even watch football... and I can't get enough of it. Has anyone else read this? It drives me crazy that a good chunk of comic stores and book stores don't seem to carry it.

yes I have read a few volumes of it. I do not like football, but I love this manga. Its very entertainng manga and I would suggest it. Its more of a comedy manga then a sports manga.

Oh and if you cant find it I suggest ordering it online. Most sites have free shipping as long as you buy about 20 dollars worth of products.

I watch Eyeshield 21 and it's currently one of the only 2 series I keep up to date on hardcore. It's a great watch and read. Sena's also the most broken support in Jump Ultimate Stars lol.

Where do you watch it? Is it on youtube or do you download it? I was wondering if the series is worth checking out. I have to agree it's more of a comedy than a sports manga, but it does have those tense sports moments that make it unique in comparison to other genres.

I get them from Saizen-Fansubs. Standard good quality but the pacings a little slow. I think they might be understaffed. They're at about 60/80ish.

Seeing as how I love football anyway, this show is turning out to be great. I'm not really reading the manga and am instead watching it on youtube and it's great so far.

Yeah, that's true. I really loved this part(spoiler-free) of the anime. Go to the 2:59 part.

I love the newest battles in ES21. The manga is TONS better. The feelings of heart pounding hits just didn't translate well to the anime.

Best match that I still read to this day is when they were battling against the best line in Japan (Taiyou Sphinx)

oh i'm not that far yet, I just finished the forth book and the last thing that happened in that was the new members are watching the ojo white knights play that new western team and losing. I have to agree that the action scenes wouldn't translate as well into an anime since the panel lay outs and the actions lines make such a huge impact in the comic.

Although... the theme songs in the anime kick ass. "I find break through" and eyeshield running through a bunch a players, if that's not cool I don't know what is.
