Just very incompetent. The main comment was true, I was about to ask that but I visited the thread just after Major Blood posted about people without PMs. Using the comment to identify myself as a townie was an afterthought. I was thinking that if I had posted about the fact that I wasn't PMed before Major Blood made the post that I reponded to then noone would question my townieness. I thought that it wouldn't be too late to do something similar to that if I made my little post immediately after that.

It was a stupid mistake on my behalf to think that I needed to assure everyone of my townieness.
