Avatar RP Question - Avatar RP V?

Well, regarding the Avvy RP IV, and how it's been going on for several months as opposed to the old one-month adventures of the past, I'm wondering if it would be okay if the Avatar RP V gets started up by whoever dibbed it.

A lot of people seem to have lost interest in the current one, and while I would like to see it to completion (in fact, the starting of Avatar RP V would not in any way affect the current RP) people have been complaining to me privately about how it's dragged on for a really long time.

Any thoughts? Yea or Nay?

I did have an idea for a storyline for one of these about a year or so ago when the current one got started, though its working might depend on the interest of enough people to enter into it right off the bat.

The Krylos, Raidens, Pyroses, Mesdens and the like would be in high demand for this particular concept, I think.

Yeah, I don't mind if you start a new one while the current one still runs. Only problem I can see is it could sap some of the activity of the current one.

Truth to tell, I badly underestimated how long the current one would take and have been running around, frantically trying to shorten things ever since realising that. The end, thankfully, is in sight.

A bit of guilt about the length has led me to periodically contact a few people who dropped out to see if they wanted to get back in as well.

Still, I'm really not surprised by drop-outs. They happen in any RP. Here's the grand list of people who signed up for Avvy RP IV:

It would be completely unmanagable if there hadn't been dropouts. Even at the current level, there's nine active people, myself included and that's still the size of a largish RP.

If sign-ups are any indication, there's plenty of space for two Avvy RP's to coexist.

I've been gone for so long, I would love to get in on this. Though I'd have to do away with th item fro, in exchange for some other wierd powers, simply because I'm trying to solidly imprint in folks minds potential for an afro to be something other than comical.(no money for you pedro)

While I could, and would, join it if it was to start up, I'm afraid I have important character development type stuffs that need to be completed first before I could move on to V. Otherwise I lose the Unexpected Plot-Twist Surprise I've been baking up for the last half year or more (has it really been that long already?!!).

If it does start up, reserve my spot and I'll jump in when IV finishes.

Who would be running the RP is still up for debate, actually. Just because some one "totally called it first" doesn't really mean anything.

Well I had a short adventure type thing that would set the stage in eliminating most of the crap that has built up from the last ones. I have heard a lot of complaints from those that don't like the god system that Raiden kind of accidently threw on the thing. However now I have to adjust some things since the interest of some of people I know have moved on, and I planned on using that old stuff.

However, give me a week and I could get everything together.

Well, it seems as if several of us have different ideas. Perhaps we should give the general premise of what each of us is going for and see what piques people's interest more.

Well if you want a summary of what I was planning, I'll try to do some that isn't so that much ain't spoiled.

Forumers find they are doing fun normal stuff when they find themselves banned. No one escapes it, everything ends right there.

They then wake up in a basement of a ruined house. The place is dark and bleary. The only noticable sight is IC (me) holding a very nice looking sword. I announce that shiney has caused a mass banination, destroying many of the city's places. The objects Kurosen and the tower of Mashirosen have been caught in the blast, and destroyed, with the release of their power causing much of the damage. Most of the administrative team is gone unaccounted for. Its up to the NPFers to figure out what caused the blast.

Well, thats the beginning anyway. I still have parts to sort out since I don't think my original idea will work anymore.
