Post The Science of Souls

Therefore, if the volume of Hell were to stay the same, the pressure would increase from the added pressure that souls cause. However, if Hell increased in volume by too much, the pressure would drop to a point where Hell would literally freeze over, like freeze-dried food. Assuming Hell doesn't expand, the pressure from over 2000 years of souls would make Hell as hot as Hell (pun intended).

And even if souls are mad of gas, I'm pretty sure that if [insert deity here] wants to bend the rules of physics, he can. Considering he's all powerful and stuff.

Actually, now that I think of it, that's pretty dumb, thinking souls are made of gas. So technically, you could fill a balloon with a soul? Where'd you find that info?

The only thing that I can think of that might lead one to think that souls are made of gas is the fact of how people claim to see clouds of smoke (or whatever) when they see a ghost, or that the ghost is of a cloudy figure.:

I work at a vodoo shop. I 've seen many a weird thing. I've seen ghosts, demon and scarier things i have worked with people who've claimed to be the embodiment of the anti christ. all i have to say is this. I sell "soul jelly" at my shop. It taste a lot like blueberry...no just mesing with ya althoug i do sell that, the thing is this a soul must be first off matter. second a soul must be able to have motion and thirdly a soul must be inflalible. thats what i know...

Theory On Hell
The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term exam paper:

"Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat), or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Support your answer with a proof."

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant thereof.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So, we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since, there are more than one of these religions, and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to Hell.

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell, because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:

If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop Hell freezes over.

So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Krissy Jones during my Freshman year that "it will be a cold night in Hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then (2) cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic.

This student got the only A.
For those of you who wished to see the actual thing Now, to me this makes perfect sense and this student is indeed ingenious to use this as his answer to that question Rock on man!

I'm not going to get into some deep philisophical debate over the issue, but that report the student did was great. If I was a teacher and I got that in response to the question, I would have given an A too.

What part of "no religious discussions" are you people having trouble comprehending? One more and it's month-long bans for the original poster and everyone who replies.
