I've been having a little trouble thinking of something appropriate to do.
I've also been trying to think of something to destroy that doesn't violate causality. Top of the list so far is causality. It explains so much about Avvy IV and V! On the subject of winning the battle, it's almost happened once already. No-one noticed. Since the Herald is effectively Immune to Violence, more... creative plans are needed.

Basically a "Go ahead, end it all. I don't give a damn." tactic, thus either A: confusing her, B: Making her think "It ain't worth it if they won't fight." or C: She goes "Ok." and Ends the world. With a capital E, right?
By guess as to the result? C, because Arhra is evil.

"Already nearly happened already? Is it possible to go back and look at past events from here?"
More than possible. Everything is neatly logged and organized. Except for when Pyros is involved, but he's not here right now. "Would it be possible to..." Bring back a copy of these logs to show to somebody else? "Yes." I don't see why not. Hold on, let me handle this. *Ahem* It was at that moment that the lead hounen sorcerer was very nearly struck in the head by a plummeting tome which contained a copy of everything which had happened thus far. Fortunately, it instead landed by his feet. "Hey, thanks! But... Arhra mentioned something about destroying causality. Won't that destroy this tome, too?" Don't you worry about that. But, just to be safe, why don't you make sure you move fast? And... maybe this will help some. The entity known as Newb snapped his fingers and the tome he had created became a complete box set of the Avvy IV adventure miniseries. Oh, and... one last thing before you go... simply because causality is getting destroyed ANYWAY and I do so love abusing time travel. A large sack appeared at the feet of the fastest hounen. Put that into Amalgam's chest cavity next time you get the chance. And now... I think it's time for you to go. Let's see now... The hounen glowed with an inner light and then faded as they were brought back beyond the proscenium, leaving behind only a faint hole through which small items might be thrown for a few minutes, but no longer.

Ara ara!

And on the fourth day of procrastination, I posted!
To summarise, having realised she was defeated in the future, Arhra has gone on the warpath. No more laidback apocalypse bringing! Going on a monument destruction spree just seemed like the right thing to do. Destroying monuments prevents the future, right? Although I guess she could have just cut her hair. Oh, and Rilan's suffering from a Heroic Blue Screen of Death. To chase after Arhra, you'd pass though mysterious floaty rock land, go through a pile of flaming clockwork, follow her trail through the North Pole (possibly encountering an enraged Santa), briefly pop out ten thousand leagues under the sea with convenient stable air bubbles (Where you most certainly will encounter an enraged mutated sea monster), and finish up in low orbit of Gaia, where you can breathe and float probably for some unexplained reason, since something that trivial isn't about to stop you after all you've been through. Feel free to do it in one post. The idea of the portal chase was mainly for characters to get a chance to see that Arhra really is causing apocalypses and get extra determined. I suppose you could take a boring, non-scenic route if you're boring like that. If you want to try something like, oh, I don't know, recruiting Santa or something, you have considerable leeway for posting there. If you still think it's a bit out there, just PM or IM me. Anyway, hopefully we should get everything wrapped up soon. It's simply a matter of A) finding that tiny chink in the Herald's armour, B) making some other genius plan for victory or C) something so awesome that I have no clear idea of what it is. I suppose there's always D) everyone dies... but that's just depressing. This will not be Evangelion. Also, I have no plan of how exactly all the paradoxes I just caused and am going to cause will be resolved, but I'm sure its all going to work out for the best.

Eh, the hounen sorcerers have a spell called Proscenium Jaunt.
I'm sure they have another spell that fixes causality that they can use if they survive. Maybe Fix Critical Errors or something. I also have a super-ultra-mega plan of AWESOME which will require the aid of Phil, Santa, Nikose, my Gaia Online counterpart, and the heroes of Mummies Alive!

Ok, there's actually content in my post, now.
EDIT: Still waiting on MT, here. It occurred to me on Saturday night that, if this deal doesn't finish by Friday, I probably won't be around for the end. This makes me sad.

Hmmm, given time complications, perhaps I should point out a clue, given the lack of alternatives emerging in a timely fashion.

EDIT: I guess I'll also have to acclerate or scrap 'cunning' plans about providing possible status quo restoration devices that are also Chaos powered Death Stars. EDIT2: That then explode since they would upset the status quo. Conveniently leaving a hulk in deep space that may be salvaged for future plots in later Avvies. I think these things out too much...
