Speaking of which, I'm just going to change the party around for a moment. My reasoning is that in order to get more dances you need to have Danser fight in different areas, so if I bring him to a bunch of different landscapes then his natural abilities will be stronger.



Also I gave him Dragoon Boots.



Jumping for double damage? Epic for boss fights, and it's not like I need all the help I can get in random battles.



Anyway, this is the eastmost point that we can reach on the Imperial Continent.

Make sure you get the soldiers outside the main area of the castle too, that why you get a titanabulum or whatever its called, and access to the items in the imperial watch post.

Just remember to get mog er Dancer's water dance. You can only get it from Lethe River or the Serpent Trench from the Veldt so you have to get it in the old world.

I know its a big circle to go in but it has great moves.

In the GBA version, at least, you can also get it from fighting the esper Leviathan in the World of Ruin (you go on the Narshe-South Figaro ferry after hearing rumors of a huge monster out at sea), but that's an awful long time to wait for that dance, so yeah, get it in the Serpent Trench or on the Lethe River. Also go to Mt. Kolts to learn a mountain dance while fighting outdoors there.

Anyway, I say--do whatever it takes to get as many of those really nice items as you can. Some of the relics you can get from this experience are really rare and useful. (Well, I've found the Tintinnabulum useful, at any rate.)

By the way--why does Cid wear a pointy hood? Is there something we ought to know about him?
