Batman doesn't kill. His allies do not kill.

Mister Deathnote does indeed kill. Therefore, eventually, Batman and all his friends would lose. Especially given the cheapness of the "Shinigami Eyes".

Hm. Alright, after all that's been said, I'm giving the nod to Light, only because one important issue was NOT raised by the Batman supporters, that one has to see Batman's face to use the shinigami eyes.

Also, I do agree, Batman's a character who would always win. I just thought a crossover featuring the two characters against each other would have been pretty cool.

Superman however is NOT a character who can always win. Batman proved that, and people forget that Superman is also suspectable to magic (I'd actually give Light and Misa 5 minuites to kill Superman because of this. Find a picture of him, shinigami eyes, kill. Easy.)

Snake-Eyes might have the upper hand most of the fight, but just when you least expect it out comes Interceptor and gnaws off Snake-Eye's leg. Shadow wins this one with help from Interceptor.

Assume that- hypothetically- Vash does want to kill Kefka for being a giant world-killing dick.

Inasmuch as nobody's making any particular effort to hold to the declaration of winners, continuing to demand adherence to the one-fight-at-a-time rule seems unnecessary. Really the imposition of a game-rules framework onto a Versus thread increasingly seems an altogether poor fit, much as one might say were similar experimentation carried out with the Camwhore or Big Religion threads.

I'm tempted to just move the whole thing to Off-Topic, the Versus argument thing as a whole has truthfully never really struck me as a particularly good fit for this bit of the forum.
