Umm... k. I see no reason for Ecurt to make this shit up, so we might as well lynch spontaneous combustion.
Vote: spontenous combustion

I can think of exactly one reason why Ecurt would make this up that doesn't involve retardation. Is there anyone in the movie who might be a lyncher/lynchee pairing?
But... that's pretty unlikely. Vote: spontaneous combustion

All They See Is Treason

Wow. I guess wierd things really do happen when I sleep. Obviously, I know that Ecurt is making this up, because I can see my own role, and nowhere is Yakavetta mentioned. But of course, everyone assumes I would say that anyway. The thing about Ecurt's claim that doesnt make sense is the fact that the name he gave was simply the general name of the crime family in the movie, not a specific name, not a role, nothing. Even wierder is that he didnt make any assertions about what that meant, and simply left it up to the town to decide what his role actually was. This appears to me as an attempt on Ecurt's part to remain innocent, as he never made a specific claim as to my character or role, and additionally, wasn't the first to explain what it would mean, as anyone with the only firsthand information should. I'm going to
Unvote: Cephrir Vote: Ecurta because his actions indicate he is scummy or a broken cop (of which there is one in the movie), and neither of those roles are something I would want to remain in the game. Edit: forgot to unvote.

We have a claim, might as well check it out. I still don't trust 42. People have said why would he do it this early and with only one vote on him? Simple. He's laying the groundwork. If he is trying to claim a role that enforces certain posting restrictions on him it not going to look good if he tries to do it later when under pressure. And no one else noticably has any post restrictions so I'm not sure there are any. I'm not convinced he's scum but I'm not trusting him either. |

Here's the thing with both cases for 42 and sc...
For 42 I've already made several statements earlier as to why I believe him to be truthful about his role. There's also the fact that more than likely someone would have countered his "role-claim" if he were lying and nobody has done such a thing yet. If he's truly who he says he is then we have a confirmed most likely town-aligned player already in our midst. As such, these particular people are usual targets for scum during the night so he may very well end up dead. If he is lying about his role however, there's a good chance that the Connor boys may be masoned with him and they'll kill him off anyway for lying. Ecurt says sc is Yakavetta which is an actual character name according to imdb. I can't remember off hand what his role in the film was, but more than likely he was a member of one of the mafias (can someone who has seen the movie recently confirm this one way or another?). If sc's lynching proves correct and he ends up non town-aligned then we made a good choice and that's all there is to it. If sc ends up town-aligned we can expect Ecurt to die during the night via vigilante or the next day at the lynch for lying. Edit: Forgot to unvote and vote Unvote: russian reversal Vote: spontaneous combustion

Yakavetta was the last guy they killed (the mob boss who killed Rocco) He's the king of the scum, as far as I know.

I'm thinking sc could either be the mob boss, simply someone from that mob, or possibly Rocco, as he'd be involved in that mob. Either way, my vote stands strong.

On the one hand, I hate it when this happens day one because then day two turns into day one, but on the other, I love it when we can take out scum with no difficulty.
unvote: whoever vote: SC
