It's mostly up to AB how many characters each team gets. I will assume, however, that each team will get less characters than a full main formation like in this last mission. What with splitting up and all. That said, each team should get at least half as many members as there were in this mission's main formation. Though maybe not. While I doubt both teams will get Engineers, both will probably need Medics. Also, since we're inside Faynoc's secret base, it's probably a good assumption that Snipers won't be available. While Lexhur definitely won't be available, other Destroyers may be. Anyway, since I'm assuming we would all like to be able to use Trainer Actions this turn, it'd be nice if Menarker would post his second Trainer Action, and Bard would post both of his. Also, Bard, what upgrade are you taking for this mission? You don't have to post your upgrade sheet, just, y'know, the upgrade. Also, are you going to customize your own upgrades, or stick with standard?

I'm going to go with another level in trainer for this mission.
I'm going to use mostly standard, but I plan on throwing a few minor custom effects in it. Mostly morale effects. |

You do realize any effect Charlotte could have on morale would probably be negative?
Anyway, kids, how do you guys wanna handle PC deployment? Obviously each team is getting two PCs, but who should go where? I'm thinking one team should get Impact and Matthias, and the other should get Charlotte and Renny. Because, Bard isn't going to come up with any plans for his team, so Menarker should do it. And while Gem is gone we can make up plans for his team. Because if we put Renny and Impact together, then sure, one team would be covered, but we'd have to keep coming up with plans for Bard the whole mission. The only problem is that one team would get no PC input until Gem gets back.

Ah, right, I better think of Trainer Actions. I might scrap my first idea due to the changes that had occurred in making my update list.
As for Snipers not being available... that would be a problem since I'm really hoping for Whitney to come along. In-character and all. I guess she could serve as an Enforcer if the situation doesn't allow for Snipers, since she has a team of pokemon. AB: Are snipers available this mission? If not, can I get Whitney as my enforcer? The idea is that she effects the enemies moral negatively.
I actually will try to help out more with battle planning in this mission. I was going to in the last one, but it got a bit hard to keep track of. Renny seems an OK choice as well. |

Sure, ask AB if she can be an Enforcer.
And I've just remembered, Menarker, one thing I'd like to note about my Combined Attack Trainer Action. You said when you clarified that the damage would be split into two hits. However, I meant for Combined Attack to be able to deal quad damage if a foe has the appropriate weaknesses.

I don't get what you mean by your comment on Combined Attack. The way I see it, the portion of your attack that would deal quad damage will deal quad damage.
For example, if your combined attack against Parasect happened to be fire/water, then you'll do quad damage for the fire portion since both grass and bug type are weak to fire, but only do half damage for the water move. Gee, I'm having problems trying to think of viable trainer actions. Preferably something that would have use if repeated, as per Renny's Breeder 1 upgrade. |

What I meant was, if the target were a Steel type, I used a Fighting move and then couple it with fire.
What I intended was for said attack to deal quad damage, even though the target only has one type. Y'dig? Basically, while Combined Attack adds no damage, multipliers do apply. So 2x and 1x is 2x, but 2x and 2x is 4x.

Oh, you want to multiply multipliers.
No. Then if you used a dragon move and another super effective move on a ruin type, you'd get 8x damage multiplier. Easily. 16x if you had dragon and dragon (which you have several) Your action as it was approved already gives you bonuses like giving your non stab move STAB if your first move also had STAB. I realized that if we were to use the above example of Parasect and couple flying with fire, it would do 8x damage. Quad for Fire and quad for Flying. :3 Last edited by Menarker; 09-19-2010 at 10:35 PM. |

Well, if not, then how's it different from a normal attack? Except, that, y'know, it can end up dealing .75x damage, making it worse than a normal attack.
What if we say that multipliers add, except for 1? So 2x + 1x would stay 2x, but 2x + 2x would be 4x, and 4x + 2x = 6x. Alternatively, we could say it can't go over 4x at all.
