I don't know why I'm doing this.
Technically, it was Jake's doing for being secretly so amazing at reading people as to get an accurate enough representation of Dirk.
But it was Dirk's doing that Jake had enough information about him to form that awesome representation. But it was Jake's doing that he was secretly insightful and analytical enough to absorb enough of Dirk's awesome to form that awesome representation.

ok, uu actually managed to be a total jerk. He gets a trophy that is suspiciously dick-shaped.
Also it looks like Red Miles is coming out of the sky above Dirk. Does this mean that DD is badass enough to pull an inter-dimensional double(?) kill on Dirk? |

Since there's nobody around to kiss Dirk I don't think this is going to lead to him getting into the game through his Dream Self.
Still, there must be some way to survive it if it's a game mechanic.

If his realself dies, the wounds will bleed over to his realself. He needs someone to kiss him if he gets Milesed.
However, he does have Sawtooth. If is robots can get him into the game fast enough, he can get rocketbooted up to his second Gate and get kissed by Jane.
