I'm amused by the God Tier Rewards. I can see a stupid-obsessed fan paying 10,000 to canonize their fantrol for half a panel before he dies, but who in their right mind would pay 100,000,000 for a famous reblog? It's just hilarious.

I did a lot of posting on here as a teenager, and I was pretty awful. Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry.

I actually did some numbercrunching earlier on SA and estimated that (back around 4:00 or so) the kickstarter was pulling in about $2,000 a minute on average. It has since slowed to a "mere" $815 a minute on average, or thirteen dollars a second. Either way, I wholly expect that it will hit its goal within 24 hours of launch, and may or may not break records by the time it ends.
