Jumping on your own bandwagon achieves nothing; why did Ape Boy vote himself?

He's either A) being an idiot, something the town can do without
B) Scum with a death Roel, which is still scum, therefore needed to kill
Or C) Posessed, which could still do with some dying either way.

I see no reason at this point to not vote him.

I think the point of him voting himself was to point out just how silly the bandwagon on him has gotten. And to bring attention to the number of people who are voting for him.

This may sound like WIFOM, but I know Ape Boy. This is a trick. He's trying to divert suspicion on himself by voting for himself and risking scum voting for him for a quicklynch (after all, he apparently wants to die, right?).

In a 1-mafia group, this makes sense, because he knows scum won't lynch him unless they think he's a liability. It's a 2-mafia setup, so it's flawed.

I know because I tried to pull the same stunt in a chat mafia game, and I've known Ape Boy well enough that he'll try this.

You're overthinking this, mate.

Because...

A) this is only my fifth Mafia game

B) I figured the only reason I was going to get votes is because I already had a few. Once I started getting votes again, what's the point in fighting it? I simply wanted to make sure you lot knew how bleeding stupid the voting was.

C) I am town-aligned, and it would be a fucking horrible idea to lynch me, because I am Misa, Town-Aligned. If I survive the day, I fully expect BG/Cult protection for Night One.

A) It does, because there's a general lack of experience.

B) I was asking EVERYONE to vote for me, because it was a complete joke of a matter that I was getting votes in the first place, regardless for just having a bunch already. What's more, at this point, if they are stupid enough to go ahead and lynch me, I want them to suffer without my ability and what I mean for their side.

C) Yes, because I've been totally scummy in playing around with Day Ones. For "knowing" what I'm doing, you really have zero clue, and it'll be fun watching you get votes once I turn up town.
