I mean, just consider how many different speaking voices a real person can manage if they want to. The first time I saw Kyra Sedgwick on a talk show instead of The Closer I couldn't believe how different her voice was. I would never have recognized her just by hearing her. The way someone talks affects far more about how they sound than most people realize, and matters almost as much as the vocal chords they're using to do it. Lacking the vocal cues that would pretty much have to exist if we could really hear them speaking, I would say that using a different font is the way to go. Font difference on 94 is surprisingly subtle... given how different the fonts are. My guess is that if you showed it to someone who is not specifically into fonts, and who has not seen the prior pages, no one would spontaneously ask why the font changed. Even if they notice, they will assume it is for some sort of emotional emphasis (as Dycedarg suggests).
Though I was skeptical, so far, I think it works.

Yeah, it's noticeably different but subtle enough. the only thing that makes it stand out is it's bold, or just thicker by nature.

I figured it was too hard to read at a 0 stroke width so I went with .5
Anyway, Page 94 Why do they have faces?....

Once I saw that image of those larvae I was thinking....is that a Lemur (The chthonic being type, not the primate)?
I sure hope the Dreadful isn't creating one of those things every time it's used to kill someone. |

I see nothing wrong with this. Here's my new theory on what's happening.
The ring lays eggs into your finger, which move to your brain and cause you to go insane, this is normally fine but the dreadful supercharged the spider, and now it's birthing snails which need shells, aka corpses. I predict that once that birthing process and shell gathering is complete they'll find some hole in the desert and never be seen again, or atleast not for 100 more years, while randomly picking off random people for more "shells". This is where atomic robo comes in to kick some ass. |

Just popped in to say that The Dreadful just keeps getting better and better. Loving how it's building and can't wait to see where it's going. I haven't a clue where, which is just great =)
Great work in all aspects, best strip on the internets MeloxXx |
