I take, I accept
though perhaps I'll regret
my choices, my path
when feeling Gods wrath.

I don't remember if I've posted this one here, but if I haven't, here goes. It just made me giggle for no real reason.

Pantie Obsession

Only heard of in Japanese fantasies
my mother thinks I'm crazy to be buying all of these
lacy underwears, in colors once unseen
from black and pink with frills, to bright fluorescent green
Once an obsession for men with no real outlet
I'll have my fill of all the panties I can get
no matter what design, I'll keep them safe and sound
until a new one gets my taste, or a better one will be found
So mother dear, don't fret, I'm not really all that bad
I could have turned to drink or drugs, or ended up in a mag
instead I'll have my obsession, and you'll just laugh along
when you see my new collection, and wash my newest thong.

As salted drops fall to ground,
I'll look up again.

not too close
overwhelming
heat consuming
draws me in
pulls me closer
wings are singed
yet still I come
flames not done
I cannot shun
too close for me
mortality
finds its grip
pulls me in
burns my wings
never feel
just obsessing

Perhaps in my dreams
my dreams can be realised

From the safety of the willow tree
I gaze out across the river of white
light reflecting from passing cars
I'm across the way, almost out of sight
I step down from my perch, so slowly
and make my way upon the freezing glass
I feel almighty, I feel grand
but I know this feeling is about to pass
for as a crack, my senses hear
as I make my way across that lake
I await the fall without an ounce of fear
as beneath me, the ice does break.

As we travel through days
We are subject to ways
That we never have known,
Bring us into our own,
And they always will.

They are beautifully wrought
And are constantly sought
By the brightest of minds,
But the rarest of finds,
Are run of the mill.

For a child is an angel
In this darkest of worlds,
They all shine as an angel
And their wings all unfurl...

To a child's own eye
All the stars in the sky
Are a beautiful sight,
Keeps them safer at night,
And gets them to dream.

And the dreams that they see
Are so simple to me
That they just can't contend,
With the pleasures they send
And still, they all gleam.

For a child is an angel

They all shine as an angel
And their wings all unfurl...

The discoveries made
And the journeys all saved
The time is finally here,
The dreams coming so near,
Into our own hearts.

And the dreams take us back
To when each Jill and Jack
Was a child of their own,
And each seed that was sown,
Was for their own starts.

They all shine as an angel

And they travel oh so far now,
Deep into the dreaming world...

I was supposed to be drawing, yet suddenly I get inspiration for poetry. Can you say "Irony"? Also, can you say cliché?

I shalt not compare thine hair to gold,
nor thine aroma to flowers.
Thine skin is not like marble so pure,
nor do thine eyes shine like gems.
Then to what do I compare thee, thou may wonder now.
"To nothing!" shalt be my retort,
for thou art thineself, nothing more, nothing less.

Besides the object of my affection.
