Poem About People
been a while, have some poetry. XD
Give Me Something New And without a purpose, always wind shall flee, as without a tether our souls are flying free. I’m cut, on a deeper vein, that I could abstain From drinking in your eyes, from swimming in your lies And now I’m just myself, a puppet on your shelf. Oh, oh… Give me something new This errantry of love I’m wearing in your pews While, while, while A thousand tiny arrows, visions torn and narrow Pierce me to the core, I know its such a bore To hear of all my pain, to hear it all again To curse my unowned grave, and all the blood I gave Oh, oh… Give me something new This errantry of love I’m wearing in your pews While, while, while All around is faint, and still I try to paint Your hate in different hues, still kneeling in your pews A prayer to your beast, while on my heart it feasts Smiling like a child, a torture infantile Ah… Give me something new, just give me all of you To toss around like cloth, to cover up the cross You’ve nailed me to Speak into the bankroll She’s glittering in light That happens just at night A denizen of your mind You can’t leave her behind Speaks in tongues, no words She’s in your mouth, absurd Tonight she’s putting out Oh what is this about? She whispers silently While you are on your knees Spilling all her honey “man you taste like money” the curtains only hide your shame from passerby you know just what you’ve done and now that it’s begun… hey it’s just tonight damn she looks alright put your pride aside she’ll let you slip inside and she whispers silently while down upon your knees you’re screaming out her name “it’s money all the same” so now in mornings light your Saturday delight is gone without a sound your wallet can’t be found yet deeper than the cash the taste of bitter ash though love was made your soul was paid and the whispers silently bring you to your knees and though you’ll learn to cope the money can’t buy hope Falling From The Line Falling from the line We take our fates in kind With temperatures aflame Blanketed in shame I’m never meant to touch Or stare at you so much But god it happens still Your beauty has instilled Insanity pristine A land without a queen Fortunes made in lust Creeping on your trust A shadow on your face Obscuring my disgrace From heights I never reached Virtues I never preached Call it desperation Or in exasperation Breathe upon my neck The whispers I suspect Are all I ever needed To you I have conceded That doubt can go to hell The taste, the touch the smell Of happiness in you Warmth beyond the crude We’re bordering divine Falling from the line Always Winter Scream a fake emotion And before commotion Takes away your stand Make sure you understand I watched you as you fell And waiting in your hell I found a piece of me Beside your bitter tree Falling were the leaves Of all that I believed Floating to the ground With no one else around To witness all I saw To stand with me in awe Of your spirits winter To catch all of the splinters And bleeding in the cold The terror took a hold It stripped away my strength Through the winters length I’m shivering beside The river that I cried The season never changed Summer never came And so I start a fire Hazarding your ire to break the ice of lies still falling from your eyes |

I've got no problem with snowfall
I laugh and walk in the drifts I've got no problem with moonlight It delights me to see her latern. I've had no worries about time It still came forth and went I've had no worries about control It flowed and turned in me I've no quarrel with men And most don't ask me to give I've no quarrel with them Though they took my stone pillar I've no patience for slumber It leaves me sicker before I've no patience for illness It shackles me to my bed. I've no courage for blindness It hampers my every move I've no courage for rages It withers me inside. |

He is myself, he’s not like me
And all there is for me to be And do and go and make and see Life unfettered flying free He doesn’t stay up nights and wonder why His life seems to pass him by He isn’t really scared to die And not at least afraid to Try He doesn’t fear an endless night Or live his life in grey twilight Or wonder always if he might He won’t go down without a fight He knows just what and how to do Everything that I want to And always there is something new My quandaries to him, askew But he’s a figurine of glass and lies And though I see things with his eyes He has no real existing ties He’s there to soften my goodbyes

Microsoft by fastbow Microsoft, Why do you torture me so? Your consistently crashing Windows browser, Fills me with immesurable woe, I cannot play a game, Without some interupption, But were it not that I need a computer, I would surely ensure your destruction, Microsoft Word! Oh how you mock me! That evil little paper clip, Sent from hell to torment me, Internet Explorer, The greatest woe to the world, But with the advent of Firefox, Your evil is to be unfurled, These are but a few evils, MS has given to us, And it truly surprises me, To see America's misplaced trust, GET FREEWARE! This poem is not by me but my friend. Every once in a while he posts poetry. I find this one particularly funny while still being serious =p so once again, this isnt by me... i couldnt make poetry if my life depended on it |

Last Resort
Pillow mints await... At the Last Resort. Only problem is, I don't like the taste of 'em; Belhops abound... At the Last Resort. Only question is, What do I pay 'em?; Luncheon is served... At the Last Resort. Only thing is, I'm allergic to peas; The cruise is arranged... At the Last Resort. Only hitch is, I don't take to the seas; I'd go somewhere else... With better service and food. Only trouble is, I'm stuck here for good.

As I sit upon my empty throne
I gaze upon the unwalked rode and contemplate the proud man's crow as I rule my nothing all alone I drift into a deep forbode as people despair unto geat woe as in the mighty words of Poe the peoples' hearts do twist and grow until they beat the tell tale truth of good and evil, the pure man's soul where the fool resides but not the show the wise men guess but dare not go unto the depths of inner man to gaze upon the true god's plan Needs a title no?

The Word: What is The Word? It is of The Truth, and as such needs no explanation... but That which is given. The Word is. enough said.

A young man walks across a lonely plane.
His path is quite simply a uniform line. His stride is unchanging, determined and strong. A pausing glance is the sole outward sign Of uncertainty and fault - this shouldn't feel wrong. There is hardly any reason for him to pine. Rationale must assure him, as it should all The wind is as soft as a feathery pillow. The sun is as beautiful as a near-golden ball. The trees are the pine, the birch and the willow So why on Earth does it cause such appall? A young man walks across a lonely plane.

The Three
Will angels fall before this might,
Or will they save us from this plight? The angels' fate within them all, The sons of man who seem so small, Will be revealed, as time will tell, Will pick us up from where we fell. For fate has picked a chosen few To lead the brave, the strong, the true Across the battlefields stained With pools of blood, all that remains Of battles lost and wars yet won, Of father, mother, daughter, son, To caves so dark and yet so bright With wonder, danger, peril, fright, Over mountains, frozen still, Trapping beasts against their will, To end the journey in calm lands, And place their fate back in the hands Of Origin, Love, and Faithfulness, To each, a gift of selflessness, Yet acknowledged, future gained, The heroes kept their hands unstained, Proved their virtue through the trials, Through the years and through the miles. So now return, from whence ye came, And find ye all exempt from pain, For final rest is thine reward, For saving Us from many hordes, Thine tale done, thy future saved, Go back, we say, and still be brave For all that live will know of thee The heroes who brought back the Three.

The Obfuscated One

Curiosity Rebuilt the Cat
I like pressing buttons to find out what they do. I like taking the bits I can use and adding them to something else to make it work better. I like using that new machine, the one that I know what all the parts do. I like that I took apart several others and made it myself, anew. I like code. It dances. It sings. It performs. It puts on a show. It follows my commands. It does exactly what it says it will do. It is relieable enough that I can depend upon it doing that which it should, even after I have moved it to someplace else. I like the satisfaction of knowing that if something goes wrong, I can fix it. I like knowing.
