Doc's suggestion was more helpful.

More helpful? Debatable.

I wonder whatever John's father did to get a restraining order from Cirque du Soleil.

It opened another tab for me too, and I was on firefox.

Anyway, this interactive bit is awesome. I actually got a bit scared when I saw the oilly goo and remembered the eyes in the darkness.

I'm the only one in the world who'll say this, but I love my controversial positions so here goes: I really don't care much for this newfangled interactive stuff in my MSPA.

It's not that it's bad, it just breaks up the traditional narrative flow of MSPA in a way I personally am not fond of.

Default Was it the pumpkins? Do you hate pumpkins?

How does it break up the traditional narrative flow? By telling more jokes than normally delivered per update? By allowing the reader to interact with a world that it makes sense for the reader to interact with? That rather than examining everything every time John enters a room for the next six week we get to examine everything ourselves? What? Tell me! I must know!

I also assume that your definition of traditional is 'How he did it in Problem Sleuth because I liked Problem Sleuth'. I'm not gonna argue with that. Problem Sleuth was loads better than his earlier stuff. I'm just not sure that I'd call it traditional, as Problem Sleuth and Homestuck have both shown pretty clearly that he's learning and changing how he does things as he goes along.

Oh no, I actually preferred Act One of Homestruck over anything Problem Sleuth ever did.

I just don't like these interactive pseudo-gaming shenanigans.
