I have not godmoded. NPCs aren't people, and therefore I can blast them all I want.

Are you saying Village People are immune to Hadoken?

Technically, Dante, I wasn't the one whose summon (if chibis can be summons) was able to score automatic hits with her hammer, while flaming another forum member.

that's alright, Argent, the only thing you did wrong was making your molten-silver attack automatically hit Jadarendir.

You were pretty damn borderline all the way. When were you last hit by anything? Thaum's died a few times already, the others are at least willing to get slightly hurt, but you still seem to cling tightly to the idea of your precious, untouched body.

Also, your posts implied that whatever QQ to get the Calvinball did was meaningless, because you'd simply make a fake and replace the original with it even if she got it, much like you did with her other acquisitions. Godmoddy? No man, that's just plain ruining the thing for someone else.

1) If you call that flaming, you're going to be in for a nasty shock when I (or someone else) really decides to cut loose.

2) Since by your logic, NPCs aren't considered people, then an attack (which was more of a fire for effect, anyway) which produces no impediment is not an attack either, even if it is an autohit.

That said, I apologize. Most of what I did was fueled by an intense dislike for your attitude. The post I made was not entirely warranted, because you weren't godmoding all the time, just beating your chest. And believe me, after seeing what Mad Jack did with his Village people, full-power hadokens are certainly warranted.

If you want me to remove it, fine, no problem. If you want it to stay to maintain continuity, no problems there either. But I'd thank you for not stroking your ego whenever you RP. It gets old. And annoying.

Dante, the chibi was both funny and utterly appropriate. Yes, I fell back on an old, bad habit of trying to be impossibly badass and uber-powerful when I RP. Thank you, my friend, for reminding me of this.

Give my thanks to the angry little chibi, too.

The joke about QQ and the Calvinball was just that, a joke. Mostly inspired by her claim that she already possessed virtually every artifact of power in the universe...what I was really implying was that they were fakes, and not the real items. A poor joke, now that I reflect on it.

About not getting hit yet....Thaum has been under attack every time he runs into another Calvinballer, or getting between two dueling forces and suffering from stray blasts.

I was attacked by another Calvinballer only once so far, when TB shot some missiles at me. Since then, most of my activities have been nonconfrontational in nature, such as quietly following someone else. When you consider that, and the fact that I keep trying to talk with whoever is currently threatening me, it becomes a lot more understandable that I haven't been severely hurt yet.

[edit] if someone DOES want to hurt me, try attacking me because you think I still have the Calvinball.

Hope y'all (yes, y'all) don't mind me asking, but why the heck is the Calvinball so darn important?

It's basically an infinite source of MP/Mana/Magical energy.

Think of it as a big, magical, battery. Also, whoever possesses it has their powers expanded greatly...to the point where they can do just about anything they think up.

It can destroy worlds, and create them. No, wait, not just worlds....entire universes can be created, changed, or unmade with the power of the Calvinball, provided you have sufficient will to wield it.

Hmm, since i've been out of the calvinball loop for about 20 games, would someone tell me if anything's changed much since the beginning (ie rules, how winners are determined, etc)?

An odd e-mail exchange between him and Scott of VGcats.

Apparently, he has a history of insanity.

Most of the time, through violence. ::rimshot::
