What's up with that? Perhaps it can't cut other fullbrings unless he puts enough power into it?

Like how Ichigo literally couldn't cut Kenpachi until he got stronger.

That's exactly how shonen powers work. Remember Soi Fon and her two hit kill that was completely ineffective against Aizen because of his stupidly large amount of raw spiritual power? Same thing.

Yes and yes. She killed one of the Lieutenant Arrancar with a double sting. She stung form both sides and they hit in the middle. She also got both stings on Aizen who promptly shrugged it off, laughed, and told her that her power was too puny to ever overcome him.

Well Aizen did have plot armor thicker then Kimpatchi's manliness. It was doomed to fail.

Well duh, guy had a wish-granting stone with unlimited power that works as long as it thinks it's owner deserves it. Nothing but protagonist power can pierce plot armor so thick.
