I dunno... even after Life the Universe and Everything, the series started to go down. Mostly Harmless had to come at some point or another, Adams just waited till book 5 to end it. Quintilogy would be the correct-er term.

As far as I'm concerned the Hitchhikers series ended with Life, the Universe, and Everything.

What does that make me, if I consider the whole series to be a series of not particularly funny skits "held together" (and I use this term at its absolute loosest) by a humdrum plot hacked in to give a bit of breathing space between the skits?
