He could be a spy, but we dont know the real powers of his role, only what he has stated to be true.

1) We take what he has said at face value, believe him, and it could bite us in the ass
2) Lynch him, get rid of him and any further power he MAY have, and worry about the rest later.

Personally, I am sticking with my vote. It just makes sense to me. Spies, in general, are not to be trusted.

This isn't ANYONE. This is ECURT. Who, the record of previous games will show, is vastly smarter than inventing a role to claim to avoid being lynched. If it were some other person who hasn't shown that level of intelligence before, then I'd be all for killing them. But considering the source, I have no option but to believe.

It is a believable story, but so is the alternative. I don't think we should lynch him, which is why I haven't voted for him yet. If we lynch him and he turns out to be telling the truth, then we've lost a valuable asset.

I also don't really doubt that he had the power to vote; it's such a fundamental game action. But as far as having insane roles goes, this game is "Totally Rigged".

EDIT in response to Roy's latest post: It was obvious that he had a secret role, what with him being invisible and all. He kinda had to claim (or invent a claim).

That's at best a side note to my actual point.

Maybe I'm not seeing something here or you have a valid reason for defending Ecurt so much, but I find your reason lacking. I'm not doubting Ecurt is a smart person but you say that Ecurt is vastly smarter than could you at least provide some evidence as such since that is the excuse you are using to prove his innocence. He is too smart to avoid a lynch by roleclaiming something fake if he had a scum role. I personally don't see what is so stupid about it if the situation was exactly the same.

Well there is another possibility...

You see, if you look at the last Mafia Game, by KP, it turned out that a vote of No Lynch was needed to win...

Also, KP kept accusing B_real of "stealing her idea" so...

Its possible we got a screwy game here. Maybe a vote of No Lynch would win it for the townies.

Thats another thing I just realized.

Evidence? That Ecurt is smart? Okay. How about Bleach Mafia. B_real has said that the entire plan was Ecurt's idea. That's brilliant planning. He's not a dumb person. He would have come up with a better plan.

Even if Ecurt is some fantastic genius, he had no other option. He had to roleclaim to survive.

Stomphoof: I don't think that we should vote no lynch. It does lend a little weight to there being secret obstacles though.

So.....what would have been a better plan to not get lynched in that situation?

This is kind of off topic, but I kinda wanted to know... What happened in KP's Mafia game? I heard that it had a pretty different to say the least kind of ending. Details, por favor?

EDIT: On Topic

Not neccessarily... He had to roleclaim because someone voted for him, and if you trust what Ecurt is saying, then he said he had to roleclaim his identity because someone voted for him.
