Sanctum is Free to Play this weekend. It's a fun game, you should try it out!
Although if anyone needs me, I am going to be playing Killing Floor. Feel free to join me. My Steam name is Treble.

Four hours of downloading and I'm only at 10% completion. NOW I remember why I was going to buy a physical copy of Arkham City instead of downloading through Steam.

To pass the time maybe you could pick up knitting, or maybe. I dunno.

I already did that when Skyrim was downloading. I'd show off my knitted Triforce pattern if my phone's camera was better.

So I saw this on the new releases list in the steam store. Dinosaurs, Jetpacks, Mechs, VTOLs, classes, and dinosaurs. It looks pretty fun, although looking around on the steam forums apparently the game is plagued with a bunch of bugs at the moment, but those will be fixed in a patch on Monday.
I am so very tempted to buy this game.

Don't buy it before the bugs are "fixed" though. |

One possibility Mauve, is if you or someone you know, has a lappytop (with enough hard drive space), and you install steam on it, and take it to someplace with free wifi at a downtime when nobody else is there, and then download the game onto the lappytop.
Then turn off steam on your own compy, move the lappytop's steam install folder's steamapps to DVD or a hard drive, and then copy paste that into your steam install, then boot up steam again. Steam should recognize the installed game, and that it is registered for your steam account, and so you can play it. This is how I got KOTOR onto my computer at college when the dorm's internet died for about a week, and I had a small netbook I took to the campus library.
