Bravo Kubo, I did not see Ginjou being evil all along coming. Nor did I see Tsukushima's powers being reversed by cutting something twice.

next few chapters will be a big deal, whether this is another brilliant "It was Aizen all along" plot twist where all the unnoticed hints suddenly add up, or some inane M. Night level pointless twist that just needlessly complicates things

The way Tsukishima hit Ishida makes me think it was all a giant Lol-izen plan.
I'm telling you. Aizen is someone's dad.

Now, here's a question. Was Ginjou really on Tsukishima's side all along, or is that just what Tsukishima's power has led him to believe?

He's never done it before?
It's possible, when you consider that one memory cut is all it takes to put them on his side forever. Then again, I'm not seeing where Tsukishima is surprised by all of this? |

Yeah, for now, this is all pointing to Tsukishima and Ginjou being in cahoots since before all this.
Well, sort of. Kinda? Man, I hate it when Kubo goes back to being Kubo. |

Well, the way I see it, there's two possibilities:
One: Tsukishima and Ginjou were in cahoots the whole time, and Ginjou let himself have his memories erased beforehand in order to pull a Light Yagami-style "just as planned" memory gambit on Ichigo. That is, he did it to be more convincing, so that he could later steal Ichigo's powers. Two: Tsukishima just now altered Ginjou's memories such that he thinks that option one happened, and altered Ishida's memories so that he thinks that Ginjou cut him. It's actually not too complicated, even if we don't yet have enough evidence to prove either one. As of now, the only way I can see Ichigo's friends going back to normal is if Ichigo somehow tricks Tsukishima into cutting them during their fight. Not likely, but it's all I can think of. |
