Sorry for reposting a lot of stuff, but like i said i'm lazy, too lazy make sure i didn't repost a bunch of stuff.

also, fighter could go to hell to fight BM a lot of ways. he doesn't need to be dead. the most likely way being sarda could send him there. (not by killing him)

Fighter, as a knight, bloodied and torn holding sword chucks with blades much like Swordopolis attached to the chains, a holy light glowing from his body, getting up and facing Hell Chaos Black Mage.

Hell Chaos Black Mage speaks, almost longingly, to Sword Fighter, “When I look back on my life, I can’t help but see an inevitable chain of events.”

Sword Fighter answers, standing at his full height, “That’s ridiculous.”

Hell Chaos Black Mage waves his hand, “Do YOU believe there could have been any other outcome than this?”

Sword Fighter looks down for abit, before answering, “That’s not how it works, there is no grand story to history.”

Sword Fighter looks away before continuing, “Things just happen. It’s the act of looking back on it that interposes a sense of narrative.”

Hell Chaos Black Mage, his eyes burning with the hate that had accumulated in him over the years, asked a question, yet really just stated a fact, “You knew it was going to end here.”

Sword Fighter stares into Hell Chaos Back Mage’s eyes with a determination that would rival, if not surpass even BM’s rage and hate, before answering, “Just like it was always going to, right?”

Hell Chaos Black Mage looks away and chuckles to himself, “You’re catching on.”

Then, he looks back at Sword Fighter, the only one who could ever stop him, the only one who could ever truly thwart his plans…the only one who made this possible…and sighs. “And yet, here we are, just as we were always going to be,” he pauses for a moment, before answering with a hint of rage in his voice, “Doesn’t that make you mad?”

He continues, the rage slightly raising in his voice, “Don’t you hate yourself for it? For never having seen it coming until now?”

Hell Chaos Black Mage’s voice was now controlled by his anger, his rage…all that he was, really. All that he’d ever be. “Every little thing is so painfully obvious now, isn’t it? Now that its too late, you have all the answers, don’t you?”

Sword Fighter sighs, looking away, as if remember the past, before looking at Hell Chaos Black Mage with a sorrowful look and saying, “It’s not too late.”

Hell Chaos Black Mage’s voice, now losing it’s anger, answered almost as pitifully, “It is for some people.”

Sword Fighter answers, “Are you trying to goad me?”

The two start to circle one another, each knowing that only they could bring about the end to their war. Hell Chaos Black Mage stops, and with a humorous tone, asks Sword Fighter, “One last thing, do you remember when we went to Gurgu?”

Sword Fighter smiles, and answers in a faint voice, “Yes.”

Hell Chaos Black Mage asks in almost as faint of a voice, “Why did you do it like that?”

Sword Fighter answers with a small laugh, “We thought it’d be funny.”

“Heh, that was funny, wasn’t it.”

Fade to black.

Yeah, kind of deep for a first post. So shoot me, I like writing depressing endings. That and I think this would be a great way to end the series...
...well thank you for making me think that 8-Bit would do better in novel form than sprite comic.

You're welcome! Sprite Comics can be limited at times...expressing Drama can be one of those times. Though, Brain's pulled it off before grandly, so we'll just have to wait and see.

And I'm betting it's actually Onion Kid. Just because it's something none of us have thought of.

Except, you know, for the little thing with Onion kid not being in the airship. But Brian might just do it anyway for the fun of it, thus wasting about 6+ threads of discussion.

Also remember comic 626, Brian has included predictability into his arsenol.

And I will say it again, I love this comic. I love it for the very reason that we are arguing over a comic that is 1.5 years old. I love it because we are arguing over a comic that half of us don't believe means anything yet we still argue over it for no good reason.

And yes, having Brian write a novel about 8-Bit Theater at the end of it all would be a novel idea (don't hurt me).
---------------------------------------------
Edit: Doesn't anybody think that this might be Brian and a forumite.
It all fits!!!

"Do YOU believe there could have been any other outcome than this?"
Obviously how we should have predicted what would happen.

"Now that it's too late, you have all the naswers don't you?"
Series is over and the forumites are fuming as to not guessing what was going to happen.

"You know it's going to end here."
Read part of above.

"One last thing. Do you remember when we went to Gurgu?"
Um... metaphorical, how Brian technically took us on a trip to Gurgu.

"Why did you do it like that?"
Um... uh... obviously how Brian is taking ideas from forumites... and.... stuff...

SEE, I am CORRECT. I have mad perseptif skillz. LMAO lOL, RofL.
Note: Sorry this is complete spam, but I seriously couldn't resist. Like most of my posts. I sleep now.

You know what would really throw us off track? King. Steve. Or Rodney, the Coffee Stain.

Oh, and for your novel novel pun, you must now face the fate of Red Mage: Dress up like a monkey, get tared and feathered, and dance the funky chicken. I HAVE SPOKEN!

Assumptions are bad.

The helly text is possible for any person on the comic. You die and you go to hell. You take over hell and become hell king. Your text goes hell-king-y. That could even be WM if she got mentally screwed up enough by BB bleeding on her after she buried him o.o.

Furthermore, something big could happen to BM that would screw him up enough that he jumped over to the "tree hugging hippy mage" camp. A possible reversal of roles. WM being chaotically evil, BM being the good guy.

Or at the very least nutty WM.

The text on the right could be anybody but BM. He's the only one who will never be red no matter what.

Hell, one of them could be a self-insertion deus-ex-machina. I'm going to be hated for logically exploring this possibility, but I'm just pointing out that assumptions are bad.

Ahem. In a couple of the earlier bonus comics, Brian had an author sprite. Bonus comic only. But the colors were red and yellow, for part of it at least. Therefore, the helly text could be a self-insertion. (just pointing out a don't-make-assumptions thing there. I don't actually think it's a self-insertion)

Yeah. Assumptions are EVIL! EVIL I SAYS! EVIL! Even assuming Brian won't insert himself the way n00b authors do is bad. Give it logical thought before throwign it away.

I'll post something smart tomorrow. need sleep.

Knowing BM as we do, if he saw his baby sister bitten by a dire elk, he would turn and walk the other way, before the elk noticed him. But what if the baby sister didn't die, and was found by travelers who deposited her with some tree hugging hippies in white robes? For all we know, White Mage could be Black Mage's long lost sister.

The only person with the Hell King text that it could possibly be is Black Mage. Just read the final lines. Can't be anyone else.

And as we've mentioned, the other should be Fighter.
